See How They Grow – Parakeet Budgie
The See How They Grow series came out in the mid 90s. This is from Pets and of course the Parakeet or Budgie one was my favorite episode of all. When I was a kid I had a little toy house like that and I would put my budgies in it. So to see a show like this really brought back memories of my childhood. Plus it’s so cute you could die. I love the animations at the begining and the end. The way he looks when he first comes out of the egg is so cute. And that last growth spurt after he lands on the perch is funny. I love the voice they gave him. And I like how they called the Cere a lump. This was a great series. The music in the house scene was very nice. Budgies are flock birds so they either need alot of your attention or other budgies to play with. Remember they won’t necessarily get along with the other budgies and may need separate cages. Please quarantine any new birds in a separate room for at least 30 days to be sure they are healthy!
