If it embarrases you when company comes around you can switch to another kind of toy, one that is less bird-like. Your bird might enjoyone or more mirrors, so it would not feel so alone. It's just in love with it's toy. Your budgie must have a wonderful personality. Don't fret it's OK just randy..Andy, the Lorikeet gets it off on my hand..it's funny to watch and when he hasn't seen me for a while he kisses me so madly. I rescued him from a dog and he;s the most adorable thing and with the best personality i have ever seen in a bird.
