Do i need a blanket on my budgies cage at night?
I just got a new budgie and am not sure if i should or shouldnt put a blanket on the cage at night.

Does the size of a budgie cage result in a longer life?
is it true if the budgies cage is bigger, it has more space, which makes the budgie live longer?

How can I add more perches to my budgie cage?
I have 2 budgies and planning on getting a third soon, my cage however is not very big and only has 2 perches, my friend uses random branches in his cage. Should I buy perches from Petco? How much do they cost? Or can I just get a tree branch and put it in? Does it matter what tree branch it is?

My budgie has been losing feathers and it seems that it’s now gasping for air. Is it sick or just moulting?
It started losing feathers about a week ago. Yesterday it lost it’s tail feathers. Today it was opening it’s beak a lot (kind of like yawning) but repeatedly as it was gasping for air. It keeps moving around the cage a lot more and scratching it’s head to whatever it finds.The other budgie has tried to bite it and was very unfriendly to it in the last 2 weeks. Are these signs of moulting or is there more involved?
