Can i cure my budgie?
Im pretty sure my 3 year old budgie is sick. hes been sleeping all day, watery stool, quiet, really poofy non stop. im guessing he has a cold. his feet are cold looks like hes fluffing as if hes itching a lot. we put him in his cage under a heat lamp, the heat seems to be making him feel much better.
we dont have money for the vet til i get payed this thursday. until then what can we do? ive been giving him fresh food and water daily, covering him at night, keeping him warm, keeping things quiet. please help i LOVE this bird.

New Budgie (parakeet), breathing heavily?
I saw her at the pet store yesterday and she wasnt doing this, today I decided to go back and get her.
Well, I got close to the cage (stupid me) and so they were all pretty scared. She’s now in her new home and continues to breathe heavily. She’s only been in there about an hour and a half though.
So basically, is breathing hevily ALWAYS a sign of sickness? Or could my bird just be scared/stressed from being in a new environment?
What are some signs of a budgie being sick or stressed?
My budgie’s cere is a slightly brownish red color. What could this mean?
I have just noticed right now that her cere is a slightly brownish red color at the bottom and her nostril is a white and pale-ish brown color.
I’m worried that she could be sick.
She is eating properly and cleaning herself.
I see no blood, and her condition seems fine, but I am unsure of what this means.
I am new to the avian world and my lack of experience has made me very panicky.
Answers would be greatly appreciated.
What does a bobbing Budgie mean?
My Budgie has been bobing it’s head at me and opening it’s beak really wide. She has been doing it a ‘lot’ lately. It looks funny, and I ‘think’ it means she’s happy. Am I right? Or is she sick or something?
