My budgie’s cere is a slightly brownish red color. What could this mean?
I have just noticed right now that her cere is a slightly brownish red color at the bottom and her nostril is a white and pale-ish brown color.
I’m worried that she could be sick.
She is eating properly and cleaning herself.
I see no blood, and her condition seems fine, but I am unsure of what this means.
I am new to the avian world and my lack of experience has made me very panicky.
Answers would be greatly appreciated.
I have a albino budgie. The cere is pink with white nostrils. Can I sex it or is it a sign of a young bird?
The base of the cere looks pink. But has a lot of white in and around the nostrils.
Why is my budgie cere turning brownish?
I have been posting questions about my budgies mating. Well i had left them alone for a few days and I stopped watching them so much so they could have a little bit of privacy. The budgies have been trying to mate but the male couldnt stay balanced. Did he learn. The females cere was white and now its turning brownish!! Should i prepare for eggs? We already have a nesting box set-up. Please give me answers ASAP!!!!!!
female budgie behavior?
im not really sure yet what my budgie’s gender is yet,a breeder on here says it female but it still has the bars on its head and the cere is purplish/blue with a tiny bit of white, but its still a baby, so what is normal female budgie behavior?

Is my parakeet a boy or a girl? how old is he/she? picture included?
the rings go up to his eyes and his or her cere is light blue.
he pet store said it was a boy but i’m not sure.
