Is it normal for my budgie to be losing so much feathers?

I have a male budgie, he’s about 9months old. He’s been losing more feathers, then he normally has, would that be due to the weather changing (winter) or what? Please let me know, thank you.

My mature parakeet’s feathers are changing color?

I have a mature female budgie who is mostly white, with some blue patches about her. The other day, I noticed that the feathers atop her head are starting to turn a golden color.

Information:
She bathes in her bath water nearly everyday.
I change their water and their bath water daily.
I keep their cage clean.
They have been on their current food for several months.
I got them when they were a year and a half old and I’ve had them for four years.
She lives in her cage with a male budgie.
She has had no change in behavior and there seems to be nothing different about her except for her feathers changing color.

Please help, I’m slightly worried.

Is it normal for a budgie to lose feathers?

Hi!

I have two budgies, had them for about one month. One is doing well, the other appears to be losing feathers. Most of the longer tail feathers were in the bottom of the cage and shorter feathers come out of the cage when they flap around. This one also seems to have a rougher looking beak than the other. Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal?

The cage is plenty big, maybe four feet tall, two feet wide. They have cuttlebone, seed, water, the seed treat things. The only thing is they aren’t getting veggies, they don’t eat them. I’m worried. Help here?

Why is my budgie always preening? and some of it’s feathers are coming out.?

I don’t know why but my budgie has been preening lately. And some of his feathers came out. Why is he doing that? I already know what preening is. But 2 feathers from the the tail (idk what its called) came off and like 1 came off from the body. Should i be worried?

New parakeet/budgie? possibly sick? help? will choose best answer?

Hi I got two parakeets from PetCo yesterday and they are just delightful..they are super tame and are roaming the whole house w/ me and my sis and already have warmed up..
today they finally ate out of my hands and drank water and acted normal [including chirping] but I’ve noticed that both of them are still kind of lethargic in the afternoon and stuff [I know its naptime and they're still adjusting], but by night time they’re really active..

also, they both occasionally sneeze…but its rare…and my house is dusty [because Im constantly sneezing too lol]..So I’m not sure..

AGAIN ALL BEHAVIOR IS NORMAL AND IS RIGHT ON TRACK

however, one of my parakeets has warm feet [a lil above the other ones foot temperature]…is that normal?-again she seems to be doing well and there are no changes in her behavior..

also, when they are sleeping, they puff up a lil’ bit..now is it because they are content or cold or what? [my house can get a lil bit cold..but its nothing huge...] when they sleep, they tuck their heads back and sleep on one foot..so thats normal..

haha i know its a lot of questions but please answer them…I might just be freakin out too much cause these are my first parakeets in a few years…but I just wanna be sure :]

Will choose best answer based on details to answers, and tips! thanks!
btw..the bird with the hot feet doesn’t puff up…he seems fine….I’m so scared for them…but I don’t have a vet..so I really need to go soon so I can get petco to check them out ASAP [they say within 15 days if your bird gets sick they'll provide vet. care..so i need to know]..

btw one reason i think they might be lethargic is cause our house is really quiet..so they might not have anything better to do than sleep..

and if it matters to anyone of you…their poop is fine :D
oh and quick update…the hot feet bird..when I first got him..his poop was stickin’ to his vent feathers..but now its stopped and is normal
