I have a mature female budgie who is mostly white, with some blue patches about her. The other day, I noticed that the feathers atop her head are starting to turn a golden color.

I don’t know why but my budgie has been preening lately. And some of his feathers came out. Why is he doing that? I already know what preening is. But 2 feathers from the the tail (idk what its called) came off and like 1 came off from the body. Should i be worried?

i came home and my budgie has some blood on the feathers on the side of his head, i dont know if its his ear but i dont know what to do! i checked my other budgie but shes fine i couldnt find any blood on her beak so i dont think she attacked him [...]
