How do you shut – up budgies?
I just got these budgies today and they were mistreated and stuff so I felt bad for them so I brought them home. I cleaned their VERY dirty cage and gave them fresh food and water. Now they are just a nuisance! My cockaties are frightened of them and I tried everything to shut them up!! Help Me!!!!!!

Help with budgie diet?
I have two budgies and when I first got them I wasn’t aware that I needed to feed them anything other than bird seed. The person at the pet store who sold them to me told me that the seed had all the nutrients that they needed. I recently stumbled across some information that said it was not enough and after further research I have figured out that my birds do need more than just seed to be healthy.
I am just wondering if anyone has any good tips on how to get my birds to eat veggies and fruit? I have tried putting it in their food dishes alone and mixed with seed and they just seem to pick it out or not eat it at all.
I was also wondering how long it is okay to leave fresh food in the cage for? I know eggs and things can only stay for an hour or so but with broccoli or carrots or something can they stay for a whole day? longer?

starved budgie , please help ?
ok so unfortunately my mother forgot to feed my budgie yesterday while i was at a friends sleepover. Finally this afternoon I gave it food, this means that he hadn’t had fresh food since the day before yesterday !! I know he’s sick because he is quietly sitting all fluffed up and not chirping or playing like usual, and had watery droppings,
BUT HE STILL HAS THE ENERGY TO WALK AROUND AND EAT HIS FOOD, he even ate his food while climbing the side of the cage
so this shows me that he still has energy to eat?
and he has been eating alot i don’t know if that is because he was starved or is sick . but HE WON’T DRINK HIS WATER.
i love this budgie with all my heaart, and i can’t bear to lose him. please tell me what is his problem and how can i help him heal. !!!
