Why does my budgerigar lick his mirror?
I’m not sure if this is normal behaviour but my budgie spends a lot of time licking the mirrors in his cage! He “dabs” at them very quickly with his tongue, I have to take them out and clean them about every two days because they get a yellowy build-up on them, which I assume is a combination of bird-spit and food! Has anybody else heard of this?
