I Need Help Training My Two New Parakeets How To Talk, Do Tricks, etc?
I got them yesterday, and I want to train them right away. The things that I want them to learn first-hand is to sit on my finger, learn where the food and water bowls are, and to say a simple word like ‘Hello’.
P.S. I also want to learn how to train them not to bite me when I pick them up.

I have a 6mths old budgie all he does is sit in the cage and dosent do anything when u go pick him up he bites
all day every day he just sits there
im not sure what i can do about him ?

My english budgie only wants to be on his cage?
I got it about a year ago and we bonded and everything. He comes out of the cage for me and will let me hold him and take him out of the cage and all that. But when I try to take him out of his cage and bring him somewhere around the house to play, he always gets about half way with me and just flies back to the cage.
If I try again he does the same thing. He used to sit with me in other parts of the house and not fly away but now he always wants to be near his cage.
what do I do? I don’t wanna leave him in the cage all day but that’s where he wants to be…

How do I finger-train my budgie?
I’ve had a male budgie for over a month, and have been unsucessful in finger training him. He will sit on my finger for very short amounts of time while he is still in his cage, but when I let him out to fly around, he will not get on my finger at all. The pet store I got him from did not hand raise him, does this mean that I won’t be able to hold him?
Any tips anybody has would be so helpful!

my budgie won’t let me pet her and she won’t come out of the cage for exercise?
